Solving the crisis of violence

crisis of violence

Our world is in crisis, with violence being the core issue; violence towards each other and our environment, originating from violence towards ourselves.

For the violence external to us to be solved, the violence internal needs to be addressed. We commit offences towards ourselves all the time. These minor acts are the framework for the major crisis of our times. Not to lay blame at ourselves for scenarios outside our control, yet we must acknowledge the part we play in it all.

We abuse our bodies with cigarettes, bad food and sedentary lifestyles.

We abuse our minds with obsession for unsustainable lifestyles, ideas sold to us by a society we literally have to buy into.

We abuse our hearts by not being fully activated in the vibration of love which we all know is the most powerful and complete state we can embody in this world.

At a time when it can seem hopeless and you feel that you are powerless, know that you can contribute to stopping the violence on the largest scale on the planet.

It’s quite simple actually.

To end the violence, love yourself and love others.

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.”

Oscar Wilde

It’s a message we’ve heard from all the big names; Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, John Lennon. Putting it into daily practice is our responsibility. That is our ultimate contribution towards creating peace on earth.

Consume healthy food and ideas. Nourish your body and mind.

Be loving towards yourself and towards all those you meet.
